Naked Color By late September the aspens at the higher elevations
have begun to shed their golden leaves and the
evergreens have taken over as the dominant color
providers on the upper slopes. In a few short weeks the
warm colors will have dissappeared to be replaced by
the glistening white of the first winter snow.
