Sorghum Sanctuary The land around Harlan County Reservoir is managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers for wildlife habitat and recreation. A small percentage of acres is leased to local farmers who are required to leave a percentage of the crop in 5 row increments unharvested as forage for wildlife. Taken 09-29-12 Harlan County, NE
